The data will be retained during the period it takes to investigate and respond to a query but may be retained longer while the contact is a prospective client. Prospective clients can also consent to receive the Broker Insights newsletter. Personal data will be deleted when the potential client is no longer a prospect, which will be undertaken during periodic reviews.

We may process data about your use of our website. The usage data may include your IP address, geographical location, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, length of visit, page views and website navigation paths, as well as information about the timing, frequency, and pattern of your service use. The source of the usage data is our analytics tracking system. This usage data may be processed for the purposes of analyzing the use of the website and services.

We collect and process this primarily to respond to contact requests and to monitor and improve our website.

(B) Broker Insights’ Platform Users

We will process your personal data that is required for you to access the platform services. This will include your name, email address and phone number. Platform users will receive email correspondence as part of the service processes. This data will be deleted when access is no longer required as specified by the insurer or broker or the end of the contractual arrangement.

We may process data about your use of platform services. The usage data may include your IP address, geographical location, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, length of visit, page views and website navigation paths, as well as information about the timing, frequency, and pattern of your service use. The source of the usage data is our analytics tracking system. This usage data may be processed for the purposes of analyzing the use of the website and services.

We collect and process this primarily for fulfilling contracts between us.

(C) Broker Client Data

The commercial client data received from our partner brokers will include some personal data. This may include your name, email address, physical address, business address, business name.

We collect and process this primarily to assist the engagement between insurers and brokers to increase the likelihood of the successful placement of brokers’ client business.  We also collect and process this for fulfilling contracts between us.

(D) Other Personal Data received from Insurers, Brokers and Stakeholders

We may receive personal data for prospective clients from insurers, brokers or other stakeholders. This data will include, but not be limited to, names, email addresses, and telephone numbers, and will be used to enable us to investigate the business opportunity. The data will be retained during the period it takes to investigate the business opportunity but may be retained longer while the contact is a prospective client. Personal data will be deleted when the potential client is no longer a prospect, which is undertaken during periodic reviews.  and this will be undertaken during an annual review. We collect and process this primarily to respond to contact requests and to monitor and improve our website.

2.4 We may process information contained in or relating to any communication that you send to us (“correspondence data”). The correspondence data may include the communication content and metadata associated with the communication. Our website will generate the metadata associated with communications made using the website contact forms. The correspondence data may be processed for the purposes of communicating with you and record-keeping. We collect and process this primarily for the proper administration of our website and business and communications with users.

4.2 We currently do not have offices and facilities in any country other than the UK and the USA. On initial sign up to our newsletter your email address will be held securely in the USA.

4.3 The hosting facilities for our website are situated in the UK.

We use data processors who are third parties who provide services to us. We have contracts in place with our data processors.
