Chris van der Kuyl is a leading entrepreneur working across the technology, media, gaming and entertainment sectors. Chris is most notably co-founder and chairman of multiple award-winning games developer 4J Studios, best known for developing Minecraft for Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo games consoles. He and fellow co-founder, Paddy Burns, launched Chroma Ventures, the investment arm of 4J Studios, in 2021.

Travis is a visionary leader with nearly two decade’s experience in transforming innovative ideas into successful ventures. With a passion for generating momentum and returns, he excels at scaling businesses, unlocking value, driving excellence and implementing transformative strategies. His career has seen him make an impact across a range of industries, including Insurtech, IT Services, Healthcare and Consulting, and he is excited to accelerate the growth of Broker Insights in the USA. Previously, Travis has held various senior executive roles, including leadership roles in Deloitte’s strategy consulting practice, and Chief Revenue Officer at Quility Insurance Holdings. Travis also has a background in venture capital as an investor as well as an operator, helping growth-stage technology companies scale.

Former Distribution Director at Aviva, Fraser has over 25 years’ experience in the insurance industry. He has led distribution, sales, marketing and proposition teams, gaining a unique perspective from a wide range of general insurance distribution models. A proven leader with an inquisitive nature, Fraser’s courage to challenge the status quo led him to co-found Broker Insights.

Prior to co-founding Broker Insights, Iain gained a breadth and depth of broker relationships across the market as Head of Sales for Regional Brokers at Aviva. This meant he was well placed to help transform the commercial insurance market and solve engagement challenges between regional brokers and major insurers.

With over 20 years of leadership experience in high-growth technology-based businesses, Peter joined Broker Insights as CEO following six months of working in an advisory capacity to the company.  Prior to this, Peter held senior interim roles in FTSE 100 and Private Equity companies including leading the joint venture between Dixons Carphone and Sprint in the US. With significant international expertise, Peter is excited to take Broker Insights to the next level in the UK and the US.

Zach has over 12 years’ of experience in the insurance industry leading teams and driving innovation. A career history spanning agencies, carriers, regulatory bodies, and software solutions, he has built a wealth of experience in everything from Sales to Data Analysis. Zach is not only passionate about insurance but also leveraging technology to solve complex business challenges and has a proven track record of delivering results. As VP, US, Zach is well placed to lead the US operations to empower the commercial insurance sector. And, when not working he’s either out golfing, woodworking or tending to his dwarf shrimp.

Utilizing expertise in coaching, leadership development and strategic analysis developed over a 20-year global career in Human Resources, Melissa helps to shape and build the vision for Broker Insights’ people and continues to strengthen our high-performing business culture. With a passion for employee wellbeing and inclusivity, Melissa ensures the frameworks and practices for empowering and developing our teams are robust, respectful, and recognize the contributions each team member makes whilst supporting their individual needs.

For the past two decades, Tom has worked with fast-growing companies to design and develop products that meet and exceed the needs of rapidly evolving industries. His work has focused on developing large-volume applications in highly secure infrastructure to provide trusted and compliant solutions.

Prior to Broker Insights, Tom was CIO at TVSquared, where he managed US and EMEA teams. He has also held senior-level positions at Brandwatch, iBAHN, Memex, Orbital Software and Vision Consulting.

Amy Garland is an ACCA-qualified accountant with a proven track record in driving financial excellence across high-pressure environments. Bringing extensive experience from the Oil & Gas, Energy, IT, and Insurtech sectors, Amy has excelled in both SMEs and large global enterprises, navigating complex projects and fostering financial transformation.

At Broker Insights, Amy oversees financial strategy, reporting, planning and analysis, playing a pivotal role in aligning financial practices with our broader organizational goals. Known for her methodical approach and high degree of organization, Amy ensures that Broker Insights’ financial foundation remains robust, adaptable, and primed for growth.
